Illness and Medicines

If your child becomes ill during the school day, we will contact you to collect them. Please do not send your child into school if you think they are poorly. If your child has been ill with a sickness and/or diarrhoea virus, please keep them at home for at least 48 hours after the final episode to stop any further spread of the infection.

Normally, children who require medicines should not be at school. If, however, emergency or ongoing medication is required it can be left at the office, with clear written instructions as to its use (eg Epipens).

Please complete this form below if your child needs medication during the school day.

Children who suffer from Asthma will have access to their medication as and when required. Please speak to your child’s class teacher.
