Safeguarding Statement

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All visitors to the school will adopt high standards of personal conduct in order to maintain the confidence and respect of their peers, pupils and the general public. No adult will act in a manner that would lead any person to question their suitability to be with children or act as a role model.

All staff have a duty to report concerns they have about the welfare of a child. If you have any concerns, please speak to the designated people in our school:

Mrs Amy Sargeant (Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead)

Mrs Sarah Mitchell (Headteacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead)

Mrs Natalie Starbuck (Deputy Headteacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead)

Dr Andrew Pickering (Designated Safeguarding Governor)

The NSPCC website has lots of advice for parents and carers on different types of abuse. The information includes identifying the signs of child exploitation and how to respond.
